IIT-R Heritage Fund Progress Report - Year 2009 Accomplishments to date

In a short span, the IIT Roorkee Heritage Fund (IITRHF) has been very successful in kick-starting a whole bunch of activities for the IIT Roorkee ecosystem. Right from launching a website, pledging funds, organizing a business plan contest, to organizing Pan IIT events (activities in Year-2008, Year-2009), we've gone a long way to realize the Heritage Fund dream.
For those of you who missed being present at the PAN-IIT Meet at Santa Clara, California here's a picture from the Founding Day.

Seed donors in the category of $1000 and over are listed under http://www.iitr-heritagefund.org/Home/seed-donors
Awards Committed - A total of 35 awards ( 28 general and 7 as personalized), each for Rs. 5 ,000/- per year are committed to be given during Year 2009 Silver/Golden/Diamond Jubilee Function at IITR Campus. We are in the process of finalizing the selection process for the general awards and the details will be included in the next update. These awards will be given each year.
