Launching Personalized Scholarships and Awards in Dept. of your choice

Dear Roorkeeites,
Upon popular request and demand, we are glad to introduce program to create Personalized Scholarship and Award in your name and in your department of choice. Further, if you institute any such program by Jan 31, 2009 then you will also qualify to list your name in prestigious Seed Donor List at http://www.iitr-heritagefund.org/Home/seed-donors

Personalized Scholarship
A donor can institute a personalized scholarship under "Donor Name Heritage Fund Scholarship" for a $10,000 donation and a monthly amount matching to IIT-R merit scholarship will be awarded for a period of 10 months during the academic year in the department of donor's choice. This scholarship is perpetual in nature and the principal amount would need to be evaluated every 5-years to adjust for inflation and/or variation in exchange rate. Funds will reach to end user through direct dealing between Heritage Fund and their local account at Roorkee.
5-year Evaluation: The scholarship amount may increase due to cost of living in India and/or significant variation in exchange rate may occur. In such a case additional principal amount may be needed to maintain the perpetuality of the scholarship.

Amit Singhal Heritage Fund Scholarship ......................in Computer Science and Engineering
Ray Mehra Heritage Fund Scholarship ..........................in Management Studies
